    Ainsworth Class of 2024 Receives 103 Scholarships During Graduation

    There are 103 scholarships being awarded to 24 of our collegebound seniors. These scholarships are awarded for outstanding performances in fine arts, athletics, and other activities as well for outstanding academic performance in the classroom. This year’s scholarship winners are: Taylor Allen - Ainsworth Activity, Ainsworth Alumni, Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course, Harriet Hughes Outstanding Fine Arts, Roy Aten Memorial, St. Pius X, Three River, University of Nebraska at Kearney Loper Achievement and University of Nebraska at Omaha Habrock.

    A.H.S. 2024 Graduates Reflect on High School Days

    Throughout my last four years at Ainsworth High School (AHS), I have been involved in volleyball, basketball, track and field, and many other non-sport organizations. Through these activities and organizations, I have been granted so many great opportunities. I’ve made many new friends and connections, and I’ve taken away countless life lessons and memories.

    Brown County Commissioners Table Pre-Payment of Roof Repair

    At the regular meeting of the Brown County Commissioners on May 7th, Commissioner Jeremiah Dailey said Shawn Fernau of Fernau Construction was requesting a pre-payment of $28,750.00 for roof repair to the courthouse roof.

    Ainsworth Board of Education Approves $97,607.00 Bid to Upgrade the School’s Cameras and Door Access

    Ainsworth Board of Education - Brad Wilkins, Scott Erthum, Frank Beel, Jessica Pozehl, Bryan Doke and Mark Johnson met in regular session on Monday, May 13th. National History Day Presentations Prior to the meeting, students, Max Hasenohr, Keith Munno, Paul Denny made their History Day Presentation on “Woodrow Wilson’s Turning Point: How America Entered World War I” and Miranda Lambrecht gave her documentary on “How the Attack on Pearl Harbor Changed the World” both qualifying them to present at National History Day.
