Surrounded by football coaches, football teammates and sided by his parents, Amber McNally and B.J. Clark, Traegan McNally signed a Letter of Intent with Chadron State College on February 20, 2024. McNally played both sides of the ball for the Ainsworth Bulldogs Football Team and helped them to two consecutive undefeated seasons in 2022 and 2023. He will be a defensive back for the Chadron Eagles. McNally plans to go into Sports Management at Chadron State.

The Ainsworth Lady Bulldog Basketball Team were District Runner-Up in the 2024 Class C2-3 District Playoff against Elmwood Murdock Lady Knights. The Lady Bulldogs ended their 2023-24 season with a record of 1311.
