    An informational meeting was held recently with members of the Nebraska Antique Farming Association (NAFA), local media and the Ainsworth Chamber of Commerce to discuss the Tractor Relay Across Nebraska (TRAN) coming to the area during the summer of 2024.

    Legislative Leaders Want to Change the Way They Do Business A change is gonna come. Leaders of the Nebraska Legislature want to streamline the process and perhaps change a few rules during the upcoming short session to avoid the mess of last year’s 90day struggle.

    As my final session in the legislature is about to begin, I am busy making sure I leave the legislature better than I found it. There is one thing I know for certain: Nebraska’s future energy policy should not be based on “renewable” energy. In every case, it makes our electric grid more fragile and makes electricity in Nebraska cost more, to say nothing of what it does to the good people of Nebraska.
