The Brown County Fair Parade was held on Monday, September 4th. Following are the prize winners from the parade.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department investigated a three-vehicle accident on August 24th. Randy Johnson of Ainsworth, NE was backing up his camper and struck a parked 1975 Ford pickup owned by Shelly Happold of Long Pine. The Happold pickup was pushed approximately six feet into a 2014 Dodge pickup, owner not listed. Damage to the Johnson trailer was estimated at $1,000.00. Damage to the Happold pickup was estimated at $2,000.00 and $1,000.00 damage to the 2014 Dodge pickup.
