I have received quite a number of calls and messages from constituents commenting about the “pink postcard” they recently received in the mail. It is intended to alert taxpayers of an impending increase in their property taxes. Often this means the local school district is about to raise property taxes as they are the largest consumer of this tax, but they are not the only ones.
