Carter Nelson to Announce College Commitment Wednesday, June 28th

Carter Nelson, ranked as the No. 2 tight end and 40th-best player overall in the 2024 recruiting class, will be announcing his college commitment on Wednesday, June 28th at the McAndrew Gym in Ainsworth. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and commitment announcement will be at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to attend the commitment announcement.
Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention Screening to be at Brown County Hospital, June 28th and 29th

Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the #1 killer of student athletes ages 1134 and the #2 cause of death. The screening Echocardiogram (Echo) is a limited ultrasound test that is used to look at the structure of the heart.

Ainsworth High School Alumni gathered for their alumni reunions beginning on Friday, June 23rd and ending with the Alumni Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 25th. Saturday morning, June 24th, the Alumni Parade made its way from the East City Park to downtown Ainsworth.
Cameryn Goochey Selected as the 2022-23 KBRB Athlete of the Year

Ainsworth High School graduate Cameryn Goochey has been selected as the 2022-23 KBRB Athlete of the Year. Goochey was a 12-sport athlete during her Bulldog career, receiving 11 varsity letters.

Noah Graff, Nick Martin and Doug Weiss all carded even-par rounds of 36 to share the top spot Thursday, June 15th during Men’s League Golf at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course. Logan Leach finished one shot back with a round of 37, followed by Kyle Jackman with a round of 38.
