After the loss of her infant child in 2016, Melissa Stewart of Long Pine decided she needed an outlet, and Prairieland Flowers was created. She had a background in horticulture and cut flowers.

The Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education held its regular meeting on Monday, June 13th at 8:00 p.m. School board members Jim Arens, Mark Johnson, Frank Beel, Jessica Pozehl and Brad Wilkins and Superintendent Dale Hafer were present. Board member Scott Erthum was absent.
