Word has been received of the death of William B. “Bill” Allen, age 91, of Bassett, NE. Bill Allen passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at his home at Bassett. Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held at a later date.

Cynthia Jane Williams passed away on December 19, 2023 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett, NE. A “Celebration of Life” celebration for Jane Williams will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at “The Connection” in Ainsworth, NE.

Funeral Service for Coralee Y. Barrow, age 88, of Long Pine, NE will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Evangelical Free Church in Ainsworth, NE. Graveside Services will occur on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbus, NE. Coralee Barrow passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at her residence in Long Pine.

Patricia E. Preble, age 79, passed away July 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Pat was born March 10, 1945 at Ainsworth, NE to Maynard Edward Jones and Dorothy Marie (Naylor) Jones. She was the second child of three siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial for Chad Gillespie, age 50, of Norfolk, NE was held Monday, July 1, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, NE. Reverend Patrick McLaughlin was celebrant, with burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk.

Charlotte Helen Linnerson Beck was 85 years old; sunrise December 14, 1938 in Nance County, NE and sunset June 20, 2024 at Windsong Northridge Memory Care in Greeley, CO. She was born to Charlotte “Lottie” Olson and Oscar Linnerson. She grew up on her family’s farm near Genoa, NE.

Harold William Whipple – beloved husband, father and grandfather – was born in the Agency, IA area on May 4, 1942. He passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024.

George Allen Allard was born September 17th, 1951, to Donald and Ruth (Overman) Allard in Valentine, NE. He was the third sibling with two brothers and two sisters. He attended grade school in Crookston, NE and graduated from Valentine High School in 1969. He worked for the Texaco gas station and for his family at their bar in Crookston during high school.

Daniel “Danny” Robert Stevens was born to Harold and Rachel A. (Hart) Stevens on July 15, 1951. He began his education at Lila McAndrew Elementary School in Ainsworth, NE in 1956. Several years later, his family moved to Lincoln, NE for a time. Danny took part in the Job Corp in Chadron, NE, where he trained in auto body repair. A few years later, Danny moved to California and began working as a truck driver.

Janice Rose Terry, 97, of Lincoln, NE passed away June 9, 2024. She was born March 6, 1927, in Ainsworth, NE to Glenn and Rose (Childs) Masters.
