BCH Receives $871,336.00 from USDA Emergency Rural Health Care Grant

Brown County Hospital has received a $871,336.00 USDA Emergency Rural Health Care Grant (ERHCG) with the assistance of Central Nebraska Economic Development District. These grant funds will be used to combat the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, future infectious disease outbreaks or pandemics, support immediate health care needs, and increase access to quality health care services, through the completion of an isolation wing and installing two new generators. For the Ainsworth Family Clinic, the installation of a generator will allow for the proper storage of vaccines within the clinic. A second generator will enhance the coverage for the hospital facility to support functions in the isolation wing and other currently non-covered areas of the building. The total cost of the project is $1,161,782.00.
