North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 531 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on January 18, 2022. Case count update as of January 24, 2022: 8,777 Total Cases (TC), 7,418 Recoveries (R), and 99 Deaths (D).

The AHS Speech team saw a tough day of competition at the Broken Bow Invitational on Saturday, January 22nd. According to Coach Heather Lutter, “There were 21 schools in attendance, and this meet has traditionally been a very difficult contest.

The Ainsworth Lions Club held its regular monthly meeting at 12:00 noon on January 17 at Canyon Creek. Lions Club President Bob Beatty called the meeting to order. Roll was taken, with 12 members present. Minutes from the previous meeting were approved, as was the Treasurer’s report.
