Nebraska Newspapers Launch Statewide Public Notice Website

The Nebraska Press Association (NPA) has launched a new public website to provide greater public access and notification to the workings of all government entities and courts in Nebraska. The website – www.nepublicnotices. com – is a cooperative effort of all Nebraska newspapers and is managed through the NPA.

Free-Earned Landowner Elk Permit Program Now Available

Landowners and leaseholders can get a free elk permit based on accumulated antlerless elk harvests on their Nebraska property. The Free-earned Landowner Elk Permit Program was approved by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in October 2021 and became effective in mid-December.

Legislative Notes

When I was sworn in as a Nebraska state senator in January 2017, I said that “I will support the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the State of Nebraska, and will faithfully discharge the duties of senator according to the best of my ability.”
