Month of November Comes to a Close with Record-Breaking Warm Temperatures

On Tuesday, November 23rd, the Ainsworth Community Schools “Big A” sign displays a temperature of 71°. According to the University of Nebraska’s records, which range from 1887 to August 2021, 71° is the record high temperature for November 23rd, which was first set in 2017.

Ainsworth Irrigation District Board Meeting The Board of Directors of the Ainsworth Irrigation District will meet on Tuesday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Ainsworth Irrigation District headquarters building, one mile east and a quarter of a mile north of Ainsworth.

NCDHD Hosted Human Performance Project in O’Neill and Valentine

On November 16th and 17th, the North Central District Health Department along with area coalitions, hosted former Navy Seal, Anthony Page, with the Human Performance Project (HPP). The Human Performance Project is a program designed to be implemented in schools and other organizations to build and foster a culture of excellence.

Carol Woods enjoyed having her brother, Jim Marsh of Ceresco and pooches, come for Thanksgiving. They prepared dinner and had turkey and the fixings. Friend, Don, joined them for dinner. It started out at 9 degrees above but warmed up.
