Ariana Arellano There are around 19 million veterans in the USA. Why should we have a holiday dedicated to the veterans? How can we show our veterans appreciation? What even is a veteran? To start off a veteran is a person who has finished their job serving our country.

The Ainsworth 7th – 12th Grade Choral Department performed Shrek the Musical on Thursday - Saturday, November 4th - 6th in the Ainsworth Community Schools Learning Center. The lead characters were played by Cole Bodeman as Lord Farquaad, Cameryn Goochey as Donkey, Gavin Olinger as Shrek and Makenna Pierce as Fiona.

Craft and vendor fair goers had the opportunity to purchase jewelry, jelly, make up, gift cards, small home decor, blankets, plants, purses and much more during the recent Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair held at The Connection on November 6th. There were some silent auction baskets, plus the Ainsworth Pink Ladies Dart League helped serve homemade chili, chicken noodle soup, broccoli cheese and a variety of pies to help raise funds for medical expenses for the Cole McCall family.

Recently, several members of the Ainsworth FFA Chapter attended the 94th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN, which took place from October 26th - 30th. Members who attended the convention included, Seniors - Libby Wilkins, Ben Flynn, Ty Schlueter, Thomas Ortner, Maia Flynn and Shelly Saner; Juniors - Gracie Petty, Makenna Pierce and Lauren Ortner; Sophomores - Tessa Barthel, Kieley Walz and Trey Appelt; and Freshman - Hannah Beel, Brianna Starkey, Emma Kennedy, Logan Schroedl and Preselyn Goochey.
