Nebraska’s fall wild turkey season begins September 15th, giving hunters a chance to harvest two turkeys on a single permit. Turkey hunting can be combined with big game, upland game, waterfowl or fishing for a true Nebraska mixed bag adventure.

Ask a Master Gardener

Instead of answering a question this week, I would like to acknowledge and thank all of the participants for bringing entries to the Brown County Fair. I am the superintendent of the Agriculture and Horticulture division and we had an amazing turnout.

Over the past month, one has been given the gift of many beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Both the sun and moon have been so bright adding many attributes of color - pink, purple, orange, yellow or all mixed together to make a very stunning picture in the sky.
