The Ainsworth Track Teams competed in the O’Neill Invitational on April 15th for their second track meet of the week. First place finishes were posted by three Ainsworth athletes.

The weather hasn’t been ideal for golf, but the golfers hit the links anyway. Ord Invitational On April 6th, the AHS team traveled to Ord for the Ord Invitational.

Sophomore Prom Servers included (Front Row - Left to Right) Emma Sears, Kerstyn Held, Saylen Young, Cameryn Goochey, Dakota Stutzman, Ally Conroy and Makenna Pierce; (Back Row - Left to Right) Ethan Fernau, Levi Goshorn, Jensen Williams, Landon Holloway and Ian Finley. The meal for the Greek Gala Junior-Senior Prom was brisket, dinner roll, greek salad, cheesy potatoes, bacon green beans, water, tea, sparkling cider and a dessert bar.

The Ainsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met on April 5, 2021. Under old business, the Directors discussed: • Bargain Buyways; • Back-to-School BBQ Bash; • Ag Week - This went over well with a good amount of foot traffic and exposure to featured Ag members; • Website - Hoping to go live by next month’s meeting.

Ainsworth Alumni Scholarships Awarded

The Ainsworth Alumni Scholarship fund is proud to announce that the recipients of the 2021 scholarships are Josie Ganser, Molly Salzman and Elizabeth Smith. Josie, daughter of Luke and Amanda Ganser, plans on attending the University of Nebraska - Lincoln majoring in Pre-Veterinary/Animal Sciences.
