KBR Rural Public Power Notice is hereby given that a meeting of KBR Rural Public Power District Operation Roundup will be held on Tuesday October 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm., at the KBR RPPD office in Ainsworth. An agenda of the items to be discussed at the meeting is available at the District Office and is kept continually current.

Deadline to Apply for Natural Resource Conservation Funds Approaching

Farmers and ranchers interested in preventing erosion, improving soil health, conserving water and wildlife, or making other natural resource conservation improvements to their property are encouraged to apply now for funding available from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Those interested in receiving funding should sign up before November 18, 2022.

Possible Scam Involving Safety Inspection by the State Fire Marshal Agency

The State Fire Marshal Agency has learned of an effort to scam some facilities under the pretense of Safety Inspections. The scammers contacted a facility to schedule a State Fire Marshal Safety inspection but wanted the customer to pay by bit coin prior to the inspection.

2022 Clean Diesel Rebate Program Applications

The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy’s 2022 Clean Diesel Rebate Program is now accepting applications for agricultural irrigation pump diesel engine replacements. Applications must be submitted to NDEE by Dec. 15, 2022, to be considered.
