Lady Dawgs Play at Home October 18th; Prepare for SWC Tournament

The Ainsworth Lady Dawgs had a busy week playing in the Broken Bow Dual on Tuesday, October 11th; hosting a dual in Ainsworth on Thursday, October 13th; and playing in the Valentine Tournament on Saturday, October 15th.

The Ainsworth American Legion Auxiliary met September 27, 2022 at the American Legion Post Home #79. President Marilyn called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Caring for the Cargiver

Every day in the clinic or hospital I meet extraordinary caregivers. They are the ones who have gone above and beyond the call of duty; sometimes for years at a time. When you ask them how they do it, they shrug and smile. I am not talking about any doctor, nurse, or therapist. I am referring to those who care for and look after their elderly friends and family members. This can be a spouse, adult child, adult grandchild, neighbor, or even a good friend.

Ask a Master Gardener

The word Allium means onion in Latin, so it is no surprise that alliums are ornamental onions. They send up stalks that vary in height by variety that are topped with an almost round flower head containing up to one hundred florets. Since they smell like onions, most pests like deer and squirrels won’t bother them.
