The Brown County Ambulance Association was presented a blood oxygen and blood gas monitor by John Halbersleben in memory of his late wife, Patricia Halbersleben. The presentation was made during the Brown County Ambulance Association’s Appreciation Night on March 8th.

Members of the Ainsworth High School Speech Team competed in the 2021 NSAA State Speech Championships in Kearney on March 18th. In Class C1 Extemporaneous Speaking, Josie Ganser placed 7th and Elizabeth Wilkins placed 14th.

During the month of March, we pause to pay tribute to everyone involved in agriculture. Many radio listeners may remember hearing, “Hello, Americans,” he barked.

March 14 - 20, 2021 Sunday, March 14th Responded to a report of a gas drive off from a service station in Ainsworth. The party was contacted and restitution was made.

“Anniversary Wedding Dance” This past weekend, we attended our friend’s wedding and during the wedding dance they did the “Anniversary Wedding Dance” where anyone who is married can enter the dance floor. As the dance continues, the DJ says if you have been married less than one year, please leave the dance floor.

Since I first began my service in the Nebraska Legislature in 2017, I have introduced and strongly supported legislation over the years to legalize the permitless carry of concealed weapons. This is commonly referred to as a “constitutional carry” law. The idea is that the Second Amendment is the only permit a free American citizen should need to carry a gun. Four of our six neighboring states (WY, SD, KS, MO) have legalized constitutional carry, and it is currently being considered in the Iowa legislature.
