As part of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, the, USDA is exercising authority under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to purchase and distribute agricultural products to those in need.

Six Ainsworth Middle School students completed projects and submitted them online for the district level of the National History Day contest. This year’s theme was “Communication in History: The Key to Understanding.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the deadline from March 5 to April 9 for agricultural producers to apply for the Quality Loss Adjustment (QLA) Program because of recent winter storms and some clarifications to program rules. This program assists producers who suffered crop quality losses due to qualifying 2018 and 2019 natural disasters.

North Central District Health Department (NCDHD) has been made aware of 16 new COVID-19 cases in the district since last reporting period on March 15, 2021: 5 - Antelope, 0 - Boyd, 1 - Brown, 3 - Cherry, 2 - Holt, 1 - Keya Paha, 3 - Knox, 1 - Pierce and 0 - Rock. NCDHD still encourages district residents to continue to wear your mask in public places or where social distancing is difficult as well as practice social distancing while out in public.
