Bulldog Football Team Falls to the Bees in Last Home Game of Season

The Ainsworth Bulldog football team hosted its final home game of the season on Friday, October 9. The Bulldogs were held scoreless until the final minutes of the game when they got a two-point safety.

The Lady Dawgs took down the Hyannis Longhorns in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-13, 2512) during the team’s last regular- season home game on Thursday, October 1. For the Dawgs, senior Gracyn Painter had 16 kills, followed by sophomore Ava Graff with five and senior Jaylee Good with three.

Students of Ainsworth Community Schools will perform The Emperor’s New Clothes with the Missoula Children’s Theatre on Saturday, January 8th. There will be two performances, the first at 3:00 p.m. and the second at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door, and are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children.

Spending a day on the ice with family and friends can be a fun way to enjoy a day over the holidays. Recent warmer temperatures, wind and rain may have degraded ice conditions in some areas of the state. Because of that, the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission warns ice anglers to use extreme caution when venturing onto the ice.
