Six Ainsworth High School art students traveled to Hastings, NE on Wednesday, September 8th to attend the 6th Annual Hastings College Mural Competition. The students spent the day painting a mural based on the theme “2075 - Future Perspective.” There were teams from 39 Nebraska schools and over 200 students participating. There is an award given for the best three murals created. Art instructor Denise Adcock said she heard after the judging that the mural created by the Ainsworth team was in the top five. The students participating were (left to right) Kaitlynn Inbody, Amelia Neumiller, Michelle Eick, Ethan Fernau, Ben Flynn and Alyssa Erthum.
