The Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District will be hosting two special meetings this month to provide an overview into their proposed office remodel, parking lot, and green infrastructure project. Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at the MNNRD office at 303 E. Highway 20 in Valentine; and Friday, March 21, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. at the Ainsworth Community Center at 606 E. 4th Street, Ainsworth.

UNL LEAD Program Introduces Micro-Credential

The Nebraska LEAD Program is excited to introduce a new micro-credential in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR). This micro-credential can be earned upon successful completion of the two-year Nebraska LEAD Program, which includes 12 intensive seminars across Nebraska, a 10-day national study/travel seminar and a two-week international study/travel seminar.

In response, I brought LB 677 with AM297 to be heard in a joint hearing with Senator Conrad’s LB 651 by the Nebraska General Affairs Committee this week.
