    Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs Wraps Up 2023-24 Season

    The Ainsworth Lady Bulldogs Basketball Team wrapped up its 2023-24 season in C2-3 District Finals against the Elmwood Murdock Lady Knights. The Lady Bulldogs ended the season with a record of 13-11 and say farewell to five seniors - Karli Kral, Jocelyn Good, Kendyl Delimont, Breanna Fernau and Cheyan Temple.

    Wildfire Update on the Valentine National Wildlife Refuge

    As of 6:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, March 3rd nearly all resources were demobilized, leaving an engine out of South Dakota and local fire personnel. The plan of action for tomorrow is to patrol control lines, monitor the burned area, and continue the mop-up process.

    Agricultural Producers Have Until March 15th to Enroll in USDA’s Key Commodity Safety Net Programs

    Agricultural producers who have not yet enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) or Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2024 crop year have until March 15, 2024, to revise elections and sign contracts. Both safety net programs, delivered by USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA), provide vital income support to farmers who experience substantial declines in crop prices or revenues for the 2024 crop year.

    Congratulations to the 2023-24 Ainsworth Boys Basketball Team

    The Ainsworth Boys Basketball Team qualified for the NSAA Boys Basketball Class D1 Tournament in Lincoln on March 7th, 8th and 9th. The Dawgs take their 18 and 7 record to Lincoln after defeating the Axtel Wildcats in D1-6 District Finals and gaining a berth to the Class D1 State Basketball Tournament.
