Nebraska Game and Parks is seeking information on the unlawful killing and needless waste of six elk in Boyd County near Gross, Nebraska. The carcasses of one bull, three cows and two calves were reported July 22nd.

The Ainsworth Elks Lodge 1790 hosted a Glowball Golf Tournament at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, July 29th with twenty-two teams competing in the tournament. Golfers took to the course at 6:00 p.m.
