The 2022-2023 school year is here and highway and city traffic in the mornings has increased with Ainsworth students walking, bussing and driving to school. It’s important to remember student safety when driving, especially when encountering school busses, crosswalks and school zones. Ainsworth Voters Approve LB840 Local Sales Tax for Economic Development

In a special election on Monday, August 9, 2022, 18.07% of the 1,024 eligible voters in the City of Ainsworth, went to the voting polls and voted to pass the renewal of LB840, the 1/2% sales tax for economic development for another 15 years. Votes cast were 168 in favor and 17 against.
