OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ The nation’s largest food distributor has joined the other businesses accusing the four largest meat processors of working together to inflate beef prices.

Ainsworth Women’s Golf League began playing the scramble format on Wednesday, July 6th. Low scores were: 38 - Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins; Calista Wilson, Jeri Graff and Kelli Kral; and Heather Lutter, Mandy Evans and Tamara Hancock; and a 39 - Kathy Worrell, Julie Micheel and Stephanie Kinzie.

The top score Thursday, July 7th during Men’s League golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course was a 2-over par 38. Brett Knoetzel, Joel Klammer and Logan Leach each posted rounds of 38, with Kyle Jackman and Noah Graff finishing with rounds of 39.

During the 2 Couple Alternating Shot Scramble Tournament on Saturday, July 9th, the team of Kevin and Jen Martin and Logan and Natalie Leach took top honors in the championship flight by shooting 68. Second place honors went to Nick and Ashley Martin and Landon Welke and Lydia Allen shooting a 69. Finishing the placings in the championship flight taking third place was the team of Rex and Julie Micheel, Rachel Peers and AJ Mitchell.

Thirteen golfers braved 102 degree temperatures and windy conditions to compete in the 1-Person Use-It or Lose-It Scramble Golf Tournament at the Ainsworth Golf Course on Sunday, July 10th. Logan Leach shot a 9-under 63 to take top honors in the Championship Flight.

Helping with the initiation ceremony were three Nebraska Grand Officers - Chaplain Mike Hitchcock, Worthy Grand Patron Wayne Andreason and Grand Warder Andrea Stewart. Grand Sentinel Dennis Rix was in attendance at the meeting.
