Question: I have small worms eating my gooseberries, what are they and how do I get rid of them? The culprit could either be the maggot of the currant fruit fly or the gooseberry fruit worm, whose adult stage is a one inch gray brown moth. Treatment for these pests is the same, a Bacillus thuringiensis based product such as Bonide Thuricide and/or a broad spectrum insecticide.
