Joan B. (Koch) Fredericksen was born March 28, 1930 in Ainsworth, NE and passed away August 10, 2020 at her home in Long Pine, NE at the age of 90 years, four months and 13 days.
Fae Laree Sharp was born on August 9, 1934 on the Rohr Place near Brocksburg, NE to Thomas and Myrtle (Hunt) Sharp. She passed away May 5, 2020 at her home in Ainsworth, NE with family by her side.
Gina Vaun Keller was born in Valentine on August 22, 1965 to Gilbert and Virginia (Vaughn) Witte. She attended District 45 country school and then graduated from Valentine Rural High School. Gina continued her education at Mid-Plains were she received her associates degree.
Robert Lloyd Hall was born in Valentine on September 14, 1944 to Kenneth C. and Alice (Epke) Hall. He received his formal education at Pine Bluff Elementary School and Valentine High School. He was a radio announcer in Valentine, Norfolk and Las Vegas. His first experience in broadcasting was in Valentine where he did the news cast on KVSH the first day they signed on March 6, 1961. Bob also worked for Bowing Manufacturing in Seattle, WA. He served his country in the United States Army being inducted on June 10, 1968. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged on March 16, 1970.
Memorial graveside services for Eddie Gracey, age 89, a lifelong resident and rancher in the Sandhills of Nebraska will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine, NE. Eddie passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Arbor Care Center in Neligh, NE with his daughters by his side. Memorials may be made to the American Legion of your choice or to the family for future designation. Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill is in charge of arrangements.
