Statewide Narcan Program Expands to Bassett, NE

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Behavioral Health is teaming up with the Nebraska Pharmacists Association and Region 4 Behavioral Health System for a statewide project that will distribute free Narcan nasal spray kits in Bassett, Nebraska, beginning November 1, 2021.

Mountain Lion Lottery Application Period is November 1 – December 8

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will accept lottery applications for mountain lion permits November 1 – December 8, 2021, for the 2022 hunting season. Permits are available only to Nebraska residents, who may have one permit per calendar year.

“Trick or Treat” Halloween is over for 2021. Must say, throughout the evening on Sunday, October 31st, we had some trick-or-treaters with very good manners.

Legislative Notes

Last Friday the 22nd of October, Southeast Community College in Lincoln hosted the Advanced Nuclear Forum. The forum highlighted the many emerging technologies in nuclear power, and the role nuclear power will have in delivering reliable, affordable energy to Nebraskans. About a dozen senators were in attendance.
