Brown County Receives Dividend Check

Brown County has received another membership dividend, this time in the amount of $8,483.00, from the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA), the county’s property, liability and workers’ compensation coverage and risk management services provider. The dividend was part of a $1 million distribution shared with 81 Nebraska counties and nine county-associated agencies during NIRMA’s annual membership conference October 21 – 22 in Kearney.

The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles has launched an online service that tracks the production and mailing status of driver’s licenses and ID cards. The new service allows customers who have ordered a new license or state ID card to track their card while it is in transit.
