Long Pine’s Railroad History

A year or so ago, we at the Long Pine Heritage Society raised funds and installed a Nebraska State Historical Marker on Main Street. It reads: “Long Pine: A Railroad Town.” In 160 words or less it details Long Pine’s railroad history.

4-H Workshops Held in Brown County

The BKR Extension Office held three workshops for 4-H members on Tuesday, June 15th at the E-Free Church. 4-H kids could participate in making tie-dye t-shirts, molds of wildlife animal tracks and nutritional snacks.
