Middle School Lady Dawgs Face Tough Matches Against Winner and O’Neill

The Junior High Lady Dawgs geared up for a competitive game in Winner, SD on Thursday, September 28th. The girls faced a tough match but came out of the game with more experience in the game of volleyball.

The Ainsworth Bulldogs held a home triangular with the Stuart Broncos and North Central Knights on Tuesday, October 5th. Starting the night with a 10-8 season, the outcome of these two matches would determine if the Dawgs would keep or lose grip of their winning season.

Ainsworth Cross Country Teams Compete at SWC

The Ainsworth Cross Country teams were back in action competing at the Southwest Conference Championships on the rolling terrain of McCook’s Heritage Hills Country Club on October 7th. The prior week the Bulldogs were off as heavy rains softened the Atkinson/Stuart Country Club course and a postponement date did not allow the Bulldogs to attend.

Governor Pete Ricketts; Dannette R. Smith, CEO of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS); and Kevin Bagley, Director of the DHHS Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care, honored four doctors with Nebraska Medicaid Provider awards. The awards recognize outstanding providers within Heritage Health Adult, Nebraska’s Medicaid program.

A special meeting of the Brown County Hospital Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Brown County Hospital Conference room. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Brent Deibler, at 12:00 p.m. Other members in attendance were Jim Walz, John Gross, Brian Delimont and Tate Schipporeit. Also attending was John Werner- CEO, Tad Stearns - Controller, Tami Kovar - Recording Secretary.
