The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) today announced changes to annual registration fees for electric and plugin hybrid vehicles, effective January 1, 2025. These updates aim to align with legislative mandates and ensure fair contributions from all vehicle owners toward road maintenance and infrastructure.

Nebraska’s minimum wage will increase to $13.50 per hour effective January 1, 2025. In accordance with an initiative passed by voters in November of 2022, the minimum wage will increase $1.50 each year through 2026, followed by an annual cost of living increase beginning in 2027. The minimum hourly wage for tipped employees is $2.13 per hour. Employers are responsible for ensuring that wages and tips combined equal at least the minimum wage.

December 9, 2024 The Board of Education of School District #10 held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the District Office. Board members present were Jessica Pozehl, Scott Erthum, Bryan Doke, Frank Beel, Mark Johnson, and Brad Wilkins. Jessica Pozehl arrived at 7:18 p.m. Members absent: None. Also, present were Superintendent Dale Hafer and Principal Ben Wright. There were a few guests in attendance.
