Severin Submits Resignation; Elementary School HVAC Renovation to Begin Late May

The Ainsworth Community Schools Board of Education held its regular meeting on Monday, May 9th at 6:00 p.m.; earlier than usual due to that evening’s High School Fine Arts Awards Night. School board members Jim Arens, Mark Johnson, Frank Beel, Jessica Pozehl, Scott Erthum and Brad Wilkins and Superintendent Dale Hafer were present.

Nebraska Likely to Wait for Final Ruling in Abortion Case

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts likely won’t decide whether to call a special legislative session focused on abortion until the U.S. Supreme Court releases its official opinion on the issue, a spokeswoman said Tuesday, May 3rd.

“Congratulations AHS Graduates Class of 2022” Sunday will be another busy day in Ainsworth as we celebrate AHS Graduation for the Class of 2022. I cant believe how fast this school year has gone, so with no one in our family in the school system, I can only imagine how fast it has gone for the seniors, staff and parents.
