FFA Taught Me Leadership and Cooperation

Being raised in the Nebraska Sandhills, agriculture has always been a part of my life. I am honored to be a part of our local FFA chapter. FFA has taught me many life lessons in the short time that I have been a part of the great organization. A few things FFA has taught me are: patience, leadership, time management skills, and how to work with others.

FFA means a legacy that has been passed down through generations. As a fourth-generation agriculturist and a third-generation FFA member, I have learned how FFA and agriculture have changed over the years. I have been provided with standards to beat and exceed from the previous generations.

In early January of 2022, the American Red Cross declared a national blood crisis for the first time in over ten years. In Brown County, however, the willingness to donate flowed freely through the charity of the community.
