The upcoming 2024-25 school year is speeding into the calendar. Drivers on the street, however, should not. As more students traverse busy streets and crosswalks to the school, it is the driver’s responsibility to remain attentive and allow pedestrians to safely cross the street. Especially, remember student safety when encountering school buses, crosswalks, and school zones. By following state and local laws, you can better protect yourself, your passengers, and other students as they head back to school.

Member Raymond Small was absent. Also present were Brown County Assessor (BCA) Peggy Gross, and Brown County Clerk’s Assistant Lisa Chohon. Chairman Bauer acknowledged the Open Meeting Act posted near the entrance to the Commissioner’s Room.
